Design+Architecture provides design services to a premium group of clients throughout rural Queensland, from our Rockhampton based studio. We have no ‘standard designs’, providing original and unique design and documentation services to each project, while striving to keep abreast with the latest sustainable construction techniques.

Design+Architecture has experience in a wide variety of developments, including Commercial, Residential, Industrial Buildings, Commercial interiors and Outdoor Recreational. We consistently consider innovative planning, sensitive site response, cost effectiveness, practicality and sustainability, as well as ensuring successful and user-friendly project outcomes.

Colin Strydom, Director, has been actively involved in the Central Queensland area since 2008, launching Design+Architecture in August of 2013. Colin is a registered architect with Architecture and Interior Design qualifications, plus more than two decades of experience in architecture, interior design and urban planning. Colin grew up in vibrant and colourful South Africa, which instilled a love for travel, clever design, and a passion to learn from all cultures and built spaces around the world.
